Dr. Meggan Herd

Dr. Meggan Herd grew up in a small town in Northern California called Woodbridge. She went to college in San Diego, California, where she completed her B.S. in Biology.

For dental school Dr. Herd attended University of The Pacific Arthur A. Dugoni School of Dentistry, in San Francisco, California. She then moved to Dallas, Texas where she was practicing general dentistry before her big move to Calgary.

Dr. Herd is a warm and compassionate individual who’s philosophy is to take the fear out of going to the dentist by providing a caring environment and gentle touch. She treats patients by listening to their personal concerns, and providing them detailed explanations of what they, together, can do to improve the patient’s oral health in a comprehensive manner. She works to develop trust by proving she always has her patient’s best interest at heart.

In her free time Dr. Herd enjoys running, spending time with family and friends and traveling. Her most recent visits have included Egypt, Australia and Costa Rica.
